Mellivora Has Its Skinner Prototype Ready!

We are proud to announce our Skinner prototype being completed!

We have been working on the prototype for a couple of months now. Though this is not anything close to a consumer version yet, Skinner prototype is a truly significant step forward. It means that we’ve moved from a vague idea into its step by step implementation.

Now for the eHealth enthusiasts like ourselves: a couple of words on how the system works. Note: currently skin parameters are tuned for white skin type due to available photo samples used for the prototype. These parameters can easily be customized for other skin types:

Currently the program consists of few major parts. The first part distinguishes skin areas from other elements (hair, clothes, etc) on the photo:

The second part marks skin problem areas, which contain the most typical elements related to a certain disease:

The third part ranks this particular skin disorder type to a certain disease class:

In the consumer version of mobile app the system will provide user with the decease class (or, in lay terms, primary diagnosis) that has the highest probability rate.

Let’s have a look at the demo video to get a complete understanding of how Skinner system operates:

We intend to work hard in the coming months to bring our first eHealth solution to the public, so that you could get a primary diagnosis and recommendations on skin problems straight away from your mobile phone. We strongly believe that people have a right to take advantage of their time without annoying issues like pimples distracting them from daily activities.

You can help us accelerate our development efforts and push forward Skinner project by kickstarting us at

And oh!.. In the comments below – let us know what you think on Skinner app prototype! We appreciate each and every opinion, so that we could create eHealth apps that would be of greater help to you.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks very good!
I’m also interested in this topic and have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive.
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

I also want to improve SEO of my website. Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve:
(Recently I have added a new page about FutureNet and the way how users can make money on this social networking portal.)

I wanted to subscribe to your newsletter, but I couldn’t find it. Do you have it?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Jan Zac

    1. Hi Jan,

Many thanks for your message and apologies for our slow reply.

As a matter of fact, we are currently working on re-shaping our websites ( &, as we are dividing the concepts: Mellivora Software is to be a software vendor with a focus on eHealth projects, and Skinner will act as a separate company under a separate brand name.

So currently we focus on re-building our websites prior to taking any promotion steps. And there will definitely be an option to subscribe to our newsletter.

Your website looks awesome! Regarding our possible co-operation – please shoot us a message via Contact us form, and someone will get back to you shortly via email (we thrive to reply within few hours at the utmost to the messages coming from Contact us form).

Would be looking forward to hearing from you!

      With Best Regards,
      Mellivora Team
